I have a particular line and a funny performance idea for a custom video. How should I write the request, and what should I understand about requests that may not fit the selected style or may not be safe to perform?

Official answer: describe the dialogue, tone and performance idea in the order brief. The team follows requests that fit the selected style and are suitable and safe to perform. A request is not a promise that every action will be accepted exactly as written.
Put exact lines in quotation marks or on separate lines, then explain the surrounding action in plain language. Identify the recipient's name and pronunciation. If the line is flexible, say what must remain unchanged and what can be adapted to the performance.
Match the idea to the setting. A physical prop or movement that makes sense in a field, goat-farm, costume or comedy-crew setting may not suit another product. Read the product description and keep the idea simple enough for the selected team to understand.
Do not request dangerous acts, harassment, humiliating treatment, illegal activity or anything involving a person who has not consented to be part of the message. A funny surprise should remain respectful and safe for the performers and recipient.
