Funny birthday wishes and roast lines that stay friendly
A good birthday roast teases the habit, never the person. Hand one of these to the crew, or write your own:
Roast lines for a friend
"Happy birthday to a legend in their own mind, and nowhere else."
For your brother or sister
"Scientists have studied your dance moves. They have no explanation."
For a coworker
"Breaking news: local legend Dan turns 35. His spreadsheets have still not improved."
Always end with one sincere line. The laugh-then-aww combo is what makes a funny birthday video worth replaying.
Pick your comedy style: roast, prank or wholesome silly
- Deadpan: the bubble bath anchor reads your message like a national emergency.
- A birthday prank: the comedy crew adds chants, stunts and dramatic pauses, an inside joke that got wildly out of hand.
- Wholesome silly: the goat farm, where the goat steals every scene.
Funny, not mean
The humour comes from the setting (a bathtub, a farm, a very serious village news desk), not from humiliating anyone. Your friend should laugh with the video, then forward it to everyone. As unique birthday gifts go, a roast they replay at every party is hard to beat: a funny birthday greeting that becomes a group memory.
Questions people ask
Will the performers say anything rude?
No. Performers keep it family-friendly and will skip anything insulting. Funny, never cruel.
Can I prank someone at work?
Yes, office birthdays and farewells are popular. Keep jokes about the job, not the person's looks or private life.
Do you do April Fools or 'just because' videos?
Absolutely. Write the occasion in your message and the performers adjust.
Can a funny birthday wishes video stay kind?
Yes. The joke lands on a habit, a hobby or a running gag, then finishes with one sincere line. That balance is what makes it replayable.
Is a sarcastic birthday wish too much?
Only if it needs explaining. Keep it light, skip private topics and let the costume, the goat or the deadpan delivery do the heavy work.
What is a birthday roast video?
A short video where performers tease the birthday person kindly, about their dancing, their cooking or their age, using your lines, and finish with one sincere wish.
Want it personal, not just funny?
The strongest funny videos still say something true. Pick a personalized birthday video if you want the name, the memory and the joke in one take, or borrow a short birthday wish and let the crew deliver it like breaking news.
Send the laugh they didn't see coming
Pick a comedy performer and your video can be ready tomorrow.
Choose your videoThe happy birthday video, funny side up
Some birthdays need a hug. Others need a happy birthday video funny enough to forward to the whole family chat. Pick a crew, write your kindest roast, and real performers turn it into a funny birthday video message they will replay for years: names shouted, jokes landed, photo held high, and a warm ending so it always stays friendly.
Want it wild? The Comedy Crew reads your roast like breaking news. Prefer farmyard chaos? The goat farm crew never misses. Every funny happy birthday video here is filmed fresh for one person, never a template.
