Real people. Real laughs. Real work for village families.

Where the videos come from

Life in a village can be beautiful and hard at the same time. Work is seasonal, money is tight, and talent often goes nowhere. Prankwish started with performers from villages in Pakistan: people who already sang at weddings, drummed at festivals and made the whole street laugh. We asked them a simple question: what if the whole world could be your audience?

Today they film birthday songs, roasts, pep talks, dances and heartfelt wishes for people they've never met, in the US, the UK, the Gulf and beyond. We're now opening our doors to village performers in India and across Africa too, so more families can earn from the gifts they already have.

Why real matters in an AI world

Almost anything can be generated now: a face, a voice, a "personalised" clip. Prankwish goes the other way. Nothing here is AI. A real person learns your words, practises the name, holds up your printed photo and performs, with real emotion, a real laugh and, yes, a real roast. You can feel the difference, and so can the person you send it to.

What your order does

• It's paid work. Each video is paid work for the performers in it, not a like, not a view, but income.
• It's shared. Group videos split the pay between everyone in the shot: the drummer, the dancers, the kids with the signs.
• It adds up. Steady orders mean families can plan, food, rent and school fees for their children instead of waiting for the next wedding season.

How you can help

1. Order a video for someone you love. It's the most direct support there is.
2. Tip the performers. Loved your video, or just believe in the idea? Send a tip and choose which crew receives it.
3. Leave a review and share your video. Every review helps a crew get its next order.

Thank you for laughing with us, and for making real, honest work possible for people who deserve the chance.
