Content & Script Rules
Last updated: 5 October 2026
Prankwish videos exist to make someone smile. Performers are real people, filming in their own villages. So every script is read by a human who deserves respect too. These rules apply to buyers' scripts, sign text and photos, and to everything performers publish.
Welcome
- Birthday wishes, songs, pep talks, congratulations, love notes, apologies, thank-yous and blessings.
- Friendly roasts: gentle teasing about things the person laughs about too.
- Inside jokes, nicknames and any language (add pronunciation hints for names).
Not allowed
- Hate or insults about race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, caste, gender, sexuality or disability.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or "pranks" meant to frighten or humiliate.
- Sexual content, nudity or anything sexual involving minors (reported to authorities).
- Asking performers to say anything degrading about themselves, their village or their country.
- Political campaigning, election messages or religious attacks.
- Impersonating real people, fake endorsements or messages that could be mistaken for a real company or official.
- Advertising, scams, illegal products or anything that breaks the law.
- Photos of other people without their permission, or of children without a parent's or guardian's permission.
What happens
- A performer may refuse or ask to change a script that breaks these rules. If it can't be fixed, the order is cancelled.
- Buyers who submit abusive, hateful or illegal scripts may have their order cancelled without a refund and their email banned from ordering.
- Performers who publish content that breaks these rules face removal, suspension or a permanent ban (see Performer Terms).

Rules for product listings
These rules decide whether a listing is public. They protect buyers and honest performers alike.
Your listing must:
- show your own real work: your photos and your sample video, filmed by you or your crew
- describe exactly what the buyer receives, how long it takes and what it costs in total
- be written in your own words, in your shop language
- keep cover photos friendly and true to the video that will be filmed
Your listing will not be published when it:
- uses AI-generated faces, voices or clips, or media copied from another performer or a website
- carries contact details, prices or links that ask buyers to pay or message you outside Prankwish
- uses a celebrity's name or photo, a brand logo, or another performer's name to attract orders
- promises what you cannot keep, such as impossible delivery times, fake discounts or guaranteed reactions
- offers anything in the Not allowed list above, in any language
Listings that break these rules stay as drafts, or are hidden until fixed. Repeated breaks follow the steps in the Performer Terms, up to a permanent ban.
Business and advertising orders. A Prankwish video is a personal gift. If a buyer wants a video that advertises a business or a product, the video must be honest about what it promotes, and when it is shared publicly it must be clear that it is paid advertising. Buyers must never ask a performer to hide that a video is an advertisement, and performers may decline advertising scripts.
